How matches are decided

Position-weighted rating

Each player's overall is weighted by position: goalkeeper and defenders carry more weight, as do forwards and midfielders. Playing out of position weakens the team — even with a high overall.

Nation synergy

Players from the same nation earn attribute bonuses: 2 together +1, 3 → +2, 4 → +3, 5 or more → +4. Build national blocks to power up your squad.

Individual attributes matter

Who scores is drawn by each player's finishing attribute — prolific finishers appear more often. In penalties, each taker uses their own penalty attribute: a weak taker can cost you qualification.

Upsets happen

Any team can eliminate any other. Randomness is part of the game — just like the real World Cup. A bad result doesn't mean your team is weak.

Winning the Cup is hard

There are 8 matches total — 3 in the group stage and 5 in the knockout rounds. Each run generates a different code: change your formation, build a new squad, and try again. The title comes with persistence.
